1 egg, lightly beaten

1 banana, mashed

2 heaped tbsp cacao

2 tbsp almond butter

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1tsp raw honey (optional – for those who have a really sweet tooth)

a pinch of grated nutmeg (optional)


  1. Mix the ingredients together in a bowl until combined. Spoon into two small lightly greased muffin tins.
  2. Bake for 15 min at 180 degrees or until the muffins are still a little soft.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy!
